My Muse: Baking

For all 3 of you loyal Tinsel Tantrum readers (Tinsel included) you are well aware that I love baking with all of my heart. It calms me in times of stress, makes me happy when I'm feeling down and just generally makes me feel calmed and complete. I love how combining flour, butter, eggs and sugar in varying amounts can make such amazing and different concoctions. Also, my grandmothers were huge bakers and I'm pretty certain I inherited their kitchen skills.

And so, in their honor and in my 2nd annual christmas tradition, I baked all day long yesterday and made 7 different types of cookies for my friends. I'm hoping to get a reputation as the christmas cookie queen and therefore, people will clamor to be in my good graces and receive my cookies. It's my version of Anna Wintour's power in the fashion world.

Hello, kitten!

Introducing Jasper Jullapat, kitten extraordinaire. He is all black,
which makes taking pictures hard. But what he lacks in photogenic
quality he more than makes up for in cute kitten happenings. Like this

while cleaning yourself because you don't have good balance yet.

I am currently reading "The End of The Affair" by Graham Greene. I found an excerpt that I particularly like, or don't like but either way it made me think.

Basketball is Sexual
