My roommates are chefs. They work at this rad place in SF called Outerlands. Please read the following review done by the ny times if you are cool and can read.
My dear friend rick has a blog with a friend as well and, um, it's AWESOME and FUNNY. It's unfortunately named, but we can't all be "tinsel tantrums." Anyway, you should still check it out because Rick is one of the only people in this world that has given me a stomach ache because I was laughing too hard. Check it
PS, added incentive: Rick has crazy hair. When we were in college, the first time I met him I was scared because his hair is so awesome and scary and curly all at once. See above photo for a likeness of him that is actually from the New Yorker. Rick looks a lot like this.
I made risotto at my new house the other night. Chicken & Mushroom, to be exact. My roommate provided the wine. We live in a house with a jasmine enclosed porch. It's wonderul. There's also a garden bed here & I've planted tomatoes, basil, cilantro & parsley. Pretty much the only herbs you need for enjoying tomatoes.
The risotto was especially good the next day when I pan fried it and made it crispy.
